TRADA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES A MINORITY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION  TRADA COVERED UNDER SECTION 2(g) OF THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR MINORITY  EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ACT, 2004. The training wing of TRADA was started in 1990 with Sr. Dr. Joan Chunkapura MMS as its Principal to train people in addiction treatment, counselling, mental health and social work. Since 2004. We are offering various PG Diploma & Certificate Programmes under Christian Medical Association of India New Delhi & State Resource Centre Kerala.

 COURSES UNDER CHRISTIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION OF  INDIA (CMAI) NEW DELHI & TRADA

The Christian Medical Association of India is Registered Under Societies Regn. Act of 1860 Reg. No. 17 of 1938-39 and Bombay Public Trust No. F:549 (N). *All AHP courses running presently under the CEB of CMAI are certified only by the CMAI. Christian Medical Association of India is pioneer in healthcare education conducting unique training  programmes for more than 90 years in our country. In 1927, Deriving from a need to deliver quality Allied Health education, CMAI had set up the Central Education Board (CEB) of CMAI, which accredits training in several Allied Health Profession area in Post Graduate in Counselling and Addiction Therapies and much more. Each of these are administered through a training committee comprising of experts in the respective fields volunteering their time for this  purpose. In total, there are 30 courses across 60 Training Centres in India with more than 600 students trained annually. CMAI courses are well accepted nationally and even globally for their quality and high standards.

Counselling Psychology through the integration of theory, research, and  practice, and  with sensitivity to multicultural issues encompasses a broad range of practices that help people to improve their well-being, alleviate distress and maladjustment, resolve crisis, and increase their ability  to live more highly functional lives. Counselling psychology is unique in its attention to both normal developmental  issues and to problems associated  with physical, emotional, and mental disorders. Counselling Psychologists serves people of all age, race, ethnicity and cultural background which include children with behavioral and academic problems, adolescents with career, educational concerns and adjustments problems; and adults with various personal and interpersonal issues, organization seeking to enhance effectiveness or well being of their employees

Application  forms are available from TRADA Institute office  which has to be filled up and submitted to TRADA Institute  office along with following documents:

• Two attested copies of marklists and certificates from 10th class onwards.
• Birth certificate or first page of SSLC certificate.
• Two copies of passport size photograph
